I started wearing lolita fashion regularly and participating in my local community in 2020 and 2021! However, I had always admired the fashion for years before then. I thought for a long time that "it just wasn't for me," but after making it all the way through school and becoming extremely jaded, I stopped caring what other people thought about my clothes. I decided to wear what made me happy. I didn't have a real income then, so I convinced my mom to buy me an Angelic Pretty blouse. When it arrived, I thought that it was the most beautiful piece of clothing I had ever seen! It made me so happy! And it was so much fun for everyone in the family to see it. I'll never forget it!
MutterButter is named after my now long passed cat, Mutt. He was a loving, caring friend who took pride in his long fur and beauty despite his name and circumstances. My life wouldn't be the same without him, and I wanted to have something to remember him by.
I have a fair amount of artistic and sewing skill, but no serger :( My dream is to one day design and make my own dresses and to have my own lolita dress brand.
